Sky burial or high place exposure to death is one of my fave subjects in ancient history and myth...the crowns of Egyptians with vulture, possibly Gobekli Tepe and famously, Paris of Troy who was meant to die as a baby from exposure after a seer foretold he’d be the downfall of the city but a poor herdsman Agelaus found Paris and raised him, where on his return to Troy...well, we all know the story ♥️

Why was it that the ancients believed that life came from Deneb (sky world), lives here on Earth and then returns to the sky world? Tales of the stork delivering babies is a reference to the swan/ Cygnus. Deneb is the hind end, where eggs (life) originates.
This, I believe, is the bridge between the astronomy that ancients SAW and monoliths that they built.
I know why. Do you? Does anybody?
It's epic, important, related to climate change, and has been affecting everybody for our entire lives...
