I put myself through college working the various resorts in and around Lake Geneva, WI during the 1980s.  I met Gary Gygax many times in a couple of "locals only" bars, the type college age kids went to after our shifts.  Nextdoor Pub was one, located very close to the TSR offices.  I drank gin & tonics back then.  (just had a flash back, gag) Gary was a chain smoker and alcoholic, but a racist?  I doubt it.  I wonder how he would feel about this?
