KP5, but no big spike seen yet in geoelectric fields.

The laureate cme strike features a much stronger magnetic field. This could quickly develop into a G2 geomagnetic storm, of KP6-7. Don’t say we didn’t warn the smash team!

Second CME is arriving now, right on schedule. Similarly to the first minor impact yesterday- this one looks like a glancing blow also. We aren’t expecting major geomagnetic effects, but once again it boils down to the magnetic field strength and orientation.
