Large Solar Flare
It’s exceeded M5, so where’s an update. It appears to be a multiple source event from the western limb (mainly from where yesterday’s x-class flare originated, slightly behind the northwest limb). See it unfold in near real time at:

Solar flare of x-class! No additional proton spike as of yet. The x-flare came from exactly where we forecasted it could.
