While wee continued alerts from NOAA, this geomagnetic storm isn’t looking as strong as it looks from the alerts. I still say it’s subsiding, and the uploaded data below agrees! KP6, is rounded up.

So there’s another CME currently ejecting. So, while I was here, I created a .gif animation for all of you folks smart enough to actually sign up for email alerts and/ or periodically check the site. Cheers.

The filament that ejected was the dark feature just above the arrow. The reason these type of CMEs are so stealthy is that they’re so directly oriented towards the coronagraph that they don’t appear until long after they eject.
