Sunspot 2916
This newest sunspot is absolutely massive, and its beta-gamma class magnetic fields mean it’s more than capable of producing x-class solar flares! Keep an ion this one. It’s now the most likely location to produce major solar flares!
Most Recent CME
The most recent coronal mass ejection will miss Earth to the south. We’ve included STEREO A COR2 space weather beacon image as reference. The previous CME is partially Earth directed and expected to arrive late on December 23rd/ into early on December 24th. In other words, Christmas Eve aurorae are likely.
