To our Gold and Silver Level smAsh teAm members, thanks for supporting our efforts to advance science.
This fellow which we’ve included a photograph of is a charlatan who does not understand physics, cosmology, nor his own ‘theories’ (we placed this term in quotes because the idea that everything is electric is idiotic and counter productive to people attempting to understand astrophysics and cosmology). He does make cool looking animations which may or may not have anything whatsoever to do with reality.

In the latest ridiculous video from ‘Thunderbolts Project’, a pseudoscientific group who claims stars are anodes, cathodes, plasmoids, or any number of things they clearly do not understand, Gareth babbles incoherently about SGR A*.
SGR A*, pronounced ‘Sagittarius A-star’, is the massive radio source at the core of the Milky Way Galaxy. It’s got gravity equal to millions of solar masses and is orbited by many blue supergiant stars at hundreds of kilometers per second. Eminating from the Galactic core region are hundreds of very long filamentary structures.

None of this proves stars are electric, and Gareth repeatedly exposes the fact that he doesn’t understand basic physics as I state in the YouTube comments section:

The ‘electric universe’ doesn’t need debunking any more than the flat Earth needs debunking, but this entire ‘movement’ is an insult to science. It’s disturbing that so many people get drawn into these unfortunate concepts. In 2022, it’s as if you can preface any ridiculous notion with the prerequisite phrase, ‘According to the mainstream…’, and people will just automatically believe your claptrap.
That’s what this is, by the way- egotistical, pathetic, pseudoscientific drivel. These people (Wal Thornhill, Don Scott, Gareth ‘Walter White Lookalike’ Samuel, and the Thunderdolts crew) are not advancing science. They’re holding it back and refuting all sorts of things from gravity, to particle physics, to astrophysics. DON’T FALL FOR IT! They’d be more accurate as astrologers, since the more people learn about reality- the farther from reality the ‘electric universe’ drifts.
