An M-Class solar flare has sent relativistic (near light speed) particles to Earth! This is causing a high frequency radio blackout especially in the southern polar region. Expect continued high frequency radio disruptions from this. It should take a few days for the polar radio blackouts to subside. Here are some of the images associated with this event!
