Earth is in an ice age, and ice ages are periods when the planet has ice at both poles year after year.
Carbon dioxide is not the driver of Earth’s atmospheric temperature variations.
Earth’s atmosphere isn’t even a valid dataset for measuring the heat latency of the planet. The water in Earth’s oceans is where nearly all of Earth’s latent heat lies. Carbon dioxide cannot even be accurately measured. All of the estimatons of mankind’s contribution to Earth’s atmospheric carbon content are not measurements. We don’t measure how much carbon dioxide oceanic cellular respiration contributes, nor how much carbon dioxide volcanoes contribute. We don’t even measure how much carbon dioxide your car, China, nor cow exhalations produce. We estimate.
What we do know is that the geologic record does not lie. A lot of people lie, and even more people believe said lies.
